I restore antique, modern, Waldoboro and Grenfell style rugs. My methods for restoration are uniquely my own, developed over the years in this business. I have an extensive inventory of fabrics in order to get the best matches for the repairs. When needed, fabrics are dyed to achieve the best results.

I have taught traditional rug hooking for over 25 years. I have several classes that meet year round. For those in the Montpelier, Vt. area you can join a class and learn the art of rug hooking.

This rug was hooked in the late 19th century-early 20th century in Calais,Vt. It was hooked with various kinds of fabric. When the owners relocated to Montana the rug accompanied them. The edges were all gone. There were pieces missing from the edges into the design around the edge. The horse was quite healthy.
